Phil Shephard, Managing Director

With over forty years experience in the insurance industry both in the broking and company sectors, Phil was invited to set up Southampton Insurance Services Limited (SIS) in August 1999, for Southampton Leisure Holdings plc.

Having successfully run the company as Managing Director for the plc for eight years, he successfully completed a Management Buy Out of the business from the parent plc. in July 2007.

SIS continues to have a good working relationship with both the plc and Southampton Football Club, with a number of players, past and present, being clients of SIS.

Needless to say that SIS has strong contacts in the sports insurance field, being able to place a number of hard to place sports related risks.
